About The Position
Mount Carmel Care Center, a faith-based, non-profit, 69-bed long-term care facility in the Berkshires, is seeking a part-time Registered Dietitian. The role provides comprehensive nutrition support for acute and long-term care residents in collaboration with the Clinical team. The position is 10 hours per week and pays $40 to $54 per hour, based on skills and experience. The stated responsibilities are a brief overview and are not intended to be all-inclusive.
Requirements
- Active Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) registration through the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association.
- MS or BS degree plus completion of a dietetic internship program.
- At least 2 years of experience in long-term care.
- Knowledge of current best practices in medical nutrition therapy.
- Strong knowledge of State and Federal regulatory guidelines, MDS, and standards impacting the Clinical Nutrition department in long-term care.
- Excellent client service, organization, and communication skills.
- Excellent computer skills, including knowledge of Point Click Care.
