About The Position

HHS is seeking a friendly, compassionate Registered Dietitian to join the culinary team at Stonewall Memorial Hospital in Aspermont, Texas. The dietitian guides patients, families, and facility staff on medical nutrition therapy to support a healthy environment, patient satisfaction, quality care, and each patient’s nutritional needs. This is a part-time hybrid role with eight remote hours per week and up to two required onsite visits per month. The starting rate is $55 per hour, negotiable based on experience.

Requirements

Registered Dietitian with Commission on Dietetic Registration credentials and a dietitian license as required by state regulations.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Food and Nutrition or a related field.
Knowledge of regulatory standards.
Computer experience with word processing, spreadsheets, and various software.
Ability to interact with individuals of all backgrounds.
Effective written, spoken, and non-verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Complete nutritional assessments and provide evidence-based interventions for inpatient and outpatient care.
Educate patients, families, nursing, food service, and other facility staff about nutritional needs.
Document patient assessments, nutritional goals, and interventions in the medical record.
Communicate with physicians and clinical staff regarding patients’ nutritional status.
Manage physician orders for therapeutic diets and supplements.
Attend patient rounds and maintain clinical nutrition policies to support regulatory compliance.
