About The Position

DaVita is hiring a Registered Dietitian to serve as a vital member of each patient’s core care team in an intimate outpatient setting. The dietitian analyzes laboratory results and educates patients and their families about appropriate nutrition. The position emphasizes patient-centered care, building personal relationships, and influencing and leading patients toward better health outcomes. The role may involve working flexible schedules across multiple facilities and traveling when needed. After hire and training, the successful candidate must complete the Competency Assessment for Renal Dietitians (CARD) with a score of at least 80%. The position also requires intermediate computer skills, proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, and functional proficiency with DaVita-specific applications within 60 days.

Requirements

State licensure is required if licensure is available in the state where the facility is located.
Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a similar area.
Ability to work flexible schedules, possibly across multiple facilities, and travel when needed.
After hire and training, complete the Competency Assessment for Renal Dietitians (CARD) with a score of at least 80%.
