About The Position
The Registered Dietitian-Inpatient works as a member of the interdisciplinary team under the direction of the Team Leader Inpatient Nutrition or designee. The role directs nutritional care for patients on assigned nursing units, screens patients for nutritional risks, assesses nutritional status, and provides education to patients and families. This is a per diem, day-shift position at St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford, Massachusetts, with weekend and holiday rotation. The stated schedule is 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Pay is determined by experience and ranges from $32.64 to $44.11 per hour.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition with an accredited program of supervised experience.
- Registration by the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics.
- Obtain order-writing privileges within six months of hire.
- Proof of application for state licensure from the Division of Professional Licensure is required before hire.
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19, or qualify for and sign a statement requesting an exemption for medical or personal reasons.
