This is a part-time, day shift Inpatient position with a Hybrid opportunity, allowing for one day of work from home per week after completing appropriate training and orientation (which could take 90 days to 6 months). The role involves 20 hours per week, including some weekend and holiday coverage. The Registered Dietitian, under the direction of the coordinator, provides clinical nutrition services to patients by providing medical nutrition therapy, performing all components of the Nutrition Care Process (including nutrition assessment, nutrition diagnosis, nutrition intervention, and nutrition monitoring and evaluation), and formulating/calculating modified diets (including oral diets, enteral nutrition, and parenteral nutrition). The position ensures patient satisfaction, quality care, regulatory agency compliance, and good public relations through the safe and efficient use of resources.
