Registered Dietitian – Part-Time (Hybrid)
About The Position
RD Nutrition Consultants LLC, a national leader in clinical nutrition consulting, is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to support a PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) program in Colorado. This hybrid position offers a flexible schedule, competitive compensation, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of older adults. The position is part-time, hybrid, with a schedule of 10-15 hours per week. Compensation ranges from $36-$42 per hour based on experience. There is an on-site requirement of one visit per week, with approximately 50% of responsibilities completed remotely, including documentation and administrative tasks. Travel time is paid at the hourly rate.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related accredited field
- Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and documentation systems
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with an interdisciplinary team
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of one year of clinical nutrition experience preferred
- Experience working with geriatric populations or PACE programs is preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and follow-up evaluations for PACE participants
- Develop individualized nutrition care plans based on each participant's medical conditions, nutritional needs, and personal goals
- Provide nutrition counseling and education to participants, caregivers, and family members
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, social workers, and the interdisciplinary care team to optimize participant outcomes
- Monitor participant progress and modify nutrition interventions as appropriate
- Complete timely and accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care planning
- Perform additional clinical and administrative duties as assigned
