We are located in the heart of Northwest Indiana in Crown Point. AMG Specialty Hospital- Northwest Indiana is hiring a PRN Dietitian. The Dietitian advises and counsels inpatients on food and nutrition. Assesses dietary needs and plans therapeutic diets for inpatients based on patient’s current health concerns. Analyzes effects of interventions. Collaborates with Physician, Nursing and therapists to improve patient outcomes. Oversees and implements preparation and service of meals for patients in the hospital. Responsible for oversight of dietary staff and their performance as well as ensuring the dietary department is in compliance with company guidelines; state, federal and other governing bodies laws and regulations. Assures patients are consistently served diets as ordered following guidelines for meal times and meal temperatures. Requirements

  • Current Dietitian licensure required for Indiana
  • Continuing Education of minimum hours every year to sustain credentials.
  • Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
