About The Position

DiningRD is seeking a part-time Registered Dietitian for skilled care communities, averaging 8-12 hours weekly. The candidate must be able to complete onsite visits Monday-Friday during regular business hours. Requirements

Commission on dietetic registration (CDR) credentials
Licensed (if required by State)
CDR # from ASCEND/Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (Required)
State License, if required for a Registered Dietitian (Required)

Nice To Haves

2 years of consulting experience is preferred
Experience in Long Term Care preferred but not required
Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks
Solid interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to represent the company in a professional manner
Enjoy coaching and mentoring others
clinical nutrition: 2 years (Preferred)

Responsibilities

Improve the lives of seniors by ensuring their meals meet high nutritional standards.
Work closely with the clinical team to monitor the nutritional needs of residents.
Provide nutrition education.
Work on an MDS with the team.
Formulate nutrition assessments with input from the dining manager.
Provide guidance on all dining services, including meal rounds and sanitation best practices.
Ensure regulatory compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
Train and provide guidance to dining managers and staff.
Assist with policy development.
Monitor the implementation of effective nutritional care systems.
