About The Position

DiningRD is actively seeking Registered Dietitians for skilled care communities. This position may be shared or filled by one RD. The candidate must be able to complete onsite visits Monday-Friday during regular business hours. Skilled care experience is required. DiningRD has been nurturing joy through food with long-term care dining programs since 1994. Our comprehensive food and nutrition programs are designed and supported by a team of registered dietitians with extensive food service experience. We currently provide dietitian consulting and menu services to more than 4,000 healthcare communities across 49 states. Requirements

• Commission on dietetic registration (CDR) credentials
• Licensed (if required by State)
• CDR # from ASCEND/Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (Required)
• State License, if required for a Registered Dietitian (Required)

Nice To Haves

• 2 years of consulting experience is preferred
• Experience in Long Term Care preferred but not required
• clinical nutrition: 2 years (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Improve the lives of seniors by ensuring their meals meet high nutritional standards.
• Work closely with the clinical team to monitor the nutritional needs of the residents.
• Provide nutrition education.
• Work on an MDS with the team.
• Formulate nutrition assessments with input from the dining manager.
• Provide guidance on all dining services, including meal rounds and sanitation best practices.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Train and provide guidance to dining managers and staff.
• Assist with policy development.
• Monitor the implementation of effective nutritional care systems.
