The Health Centre is currently recruiting for the following position: Job Title: Registered Dietitian Pay: $68,770.86 - $82,857.14 per annum Permanent, Full-Time FTE 1.0 37.5 hours per week Benefit package: Paid Vacation Leave: 3 weeks to start; 4 weeks after 1 year Paid Public Holidays & Sick Leave Defined Benefit Pension Plan (through HOOPP) Extended health and dental insurance Life, Accidental Death, and Long-Term Disability insurance Job Summary The Registered Dietitian (RD), Diabetes Education Program (DEP) provides community based nutritional and health assessments, diabetes self-management education, insulin management, nutritional care services, and behaviour change support for people living with type 2 diabetes in the Kitchener Waterloo region. The RD - DEP operates within a client-centered health team, in collaboration with CHCKW staff, Primary Care Practitioners, Endocrinologists, Community Partners and the Waterloo Community Diabetes program. The RD, Diabetes Education Program, participates in the development, delivery and evaluation of programs and services for CHCKW and the regional Waterloo Community Diabetes Program.
