About The Position
Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join their clinical team at USC Arcadia Hospital, a 348-bed acute care facility. This role involves providing medical nutrition therapy for inpatient populations, including critical care, conducting nutrition assessments, educating patients and families, participating in quality improvement initiatives, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and documenting care in the electronic medical record. The hospital setting offers a balance of clinical complexity and growth opportunities, with specialized units such as Critical Care, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Bariatric Program, and an Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit.
Requirements
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) credential
- Master's degree (preferred)
- Two years' experience in critical care and nutrition support along with PI/QI initiatives
- Strong interest in improving clinical knowledge
- Excellent Organizational, communication skills
- Ability to be self-directed and a team player
- Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
- Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.

Responsibilities
- Provide medical nutrition therapy utilizing the Nutrition Care Process for inpatient populations, including critical care
- Conduct nutrition assessments, monitoring, and follow-up care
- Educate patients and families regarding acute and chronic disease management
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives such as meal rounds, tray audits, and patient satisfaction activities
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff
- Document care accurately in the electronic medical record
- Assist with Food & Nutrition Services operations as needed
