About The Position

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Registered Dietitian to manage clinical nutritional services at a long-term care facility. The role focuses on assessing residents’ and patients’ nutrition needs, providing individualized care and education, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support health and well-being. The position is part-time, with Monday–Friday scheduling and flexible schedules. Full-time opportunities may be available; candidates can ask their recruiter for details. Coverage across multiple buildings may be provided based on company needs and the employee’s preference.

Requirements

• Be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Hold a certification or license in good standing within the state of practice.
• Have strong organizational and communication skills.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies as required by state, local, and/or customer requirements.
• If working as a multi-site registered dietitian, hold a valid driver’s license.
• RD-eligible candidates and provisional state licensure are accepted in certain locations.

• Knowledge of the state survey process and compliance with nutrition care regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents’ and patients’ clinical nutrition needs and develop and document plans in the electronic medical record.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on clinical findings, lab results, weight trends, intake, and comorbidities.
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents, patients, families, and staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to determine plans of care that improve residents’ and patients’ health and well-being.
• Ensure adherence to CMS, state, and federal regulations and company standards.
• Provide coverage in multiple buildings based on company needs and, as desired.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
