About The Position

NiteLines USA is seeking a professional and dedicated Registered Dietitian to provide contract support services to the State of Missouri in St. Louis. This role involves caring for approximately 20-30 patients, conducting nutrition assessments, providing individualized interventions, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and food service staff. The position is a contract role for approximately 6 months, with an estimated 20 hours per week during daytime hours, Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will be licensed in Missouri and registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.

Requirements

• Currently licensed as a Dietitian in Missouri
• Maintain registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration
• Attend HCPH orientation and training
• Proof of current Missouri licensure
• Resume
• One professional reference
• A detailed report of all work the Dietitian has done at or for any State of Missouri agency during the previous 12 months, including the name of each state agency and the dates of the Dietitian’s assignment(s)

Nice To Haves

• Dietitian to work four hours per day during morning hours, five days per week
• HCPH may allow other schedules (such as eight hours per day on two days and four hours per day on one day per week)

Responsibilities

• Completing initial and annual nutrition assessments of all assigned consumers
• Following up with consumers monthly or quarterly depending on nutrition risk
• Providing individualized interventions based on consumers' nutrition/health goals
• Attending and participating in interdisciplinary care of consumers
• Communicating with Food Service staff about special dietary needs of assigned consumers
• Facilitating weekly nutrition-based groups with consumers
• Approving weekly menu changes
