About The Position

RD Nutrition Consultants LLC, a national leader in clinical nutrition consulting, is seeking a full-time, on-site Registered Dietitian to support a community-based geriatric care program in Indiana. This role offers a consistent schedule, competitive compensation, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient health and quality of life. This is a full-time, on-site position in a community-based geriatric care setting, requiring 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday during standard business hours. Travel time is paid at the hourly rate and mileage is reimbursed at the federal rate.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related accredited field
• Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration
• Active Indiana state license (required)
• Proficiency with electronic charting systems
• Understanding of state and federal regulations related to nutrition care
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Nice To Haves

• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and follow-up evaluations
• Develop individualized nutrition care plans tailored to medical needs, cultural preferences, and patient goals
• Provide patient and family education on nutrition, chronic disease management, and healthy lifestyle practices
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate care
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
• Document all care provided in accordance with facility and company policies
• Perform administrative and organizational tasks as required
