Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field
  • One of the following: Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration
  • RD-eligible (must obtain credential and Montana licensure within 90 days)
  • Licensed Nutritionist through the Montana State Board of Medical Examiners
  • Ability to obtain RQI Responder certification within 7 days of hire

  • At least one (1) year of healthcare experience preferred

  • Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide evidence-based nutrition care using the Nutrition Care Process
  • Assess, diagnose, and implement nutrition interventions for oncology patients
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and department meetings
  • Document care accurately and thoroughly in the EHR
  • Educate patients and families on nutrition-related needs
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and clinical nutrition projects
