Benton County Health Services is currently seeking a Temporary Registered Dietitian / WIC Coordinator to join the team. As a member of an interdisciplinary team, and under the guidance of the Public Health Nurse Program Manager, administer the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program, including planning, reporting, and ensuring compliance with Federal and State regulations; provide nutrition assessments, intervention and education to individuals and families, including high-risk counseling; develop individual care plans based on nutritional assessments; issue food package benefits; plan and coordinate WIC specific education initiatives; breastfeeding promotion and support training and service evaluation; schedule, organize, and assign work to program staff; and conduct clinical and community level outreach. This is an on-call position not to exceed 1040 hours in a fiscal year.
