About The Position

This position is located at St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford, MA. A $4,000 new hire sign-on bonus is available for this position. The role involves performing diversified duties as a member of the interdisciplinary team, directing nutritional care for patients on various assigned nursing units. This includes screening patients for nutritional risks, assessing patient nutritional status, and providing teaching to patients and families.

Requirements

A Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition with an accredited program of supervised experience is required.
Registration by the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetic.
Must obtain order writing privileges within 6 months of hire.
Proof of application for state licensure from the Division of Professional Licensure is required prior to hire.
Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.

Nice To Haves

One (1) year of experience is preferred.
