About The Position

Brothers of Mercy, Western New York’s largest 5-Star Skilled Nursing Facility and one of the top-performing nursing homes in New York State, is expanding our award-winning Rehabilitation and Short Stay programs… and we’re looking for a dedicated Registered Dietician (RD) to help lead our nutritional services team. Requirements

  • Current Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential through CDR.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field.
  • Strong communication and motivational counseling skills.
  • Compassionate, organized, and enthusiastic about health promotion.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and support our clinical nutrition team to uphold clinical and service excellence.
  • Provide evidence-based nutrition counseling and education to residents/patients.
  • Develop individualized nutrition care plans based on health needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with rehabilitation, admissions, and social work teams to ensure efficient, patient-centered care.
  • Monitor quality indicators and drive performance improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards and documentation requirements.
