Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
  • Current Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
  • Current Idaho licensure through the Idaho State Board of Medicine.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to adapt to change and learn new processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Professional, compassionate, and patient-centered approach.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Commitment to serving as a positive role model within the organization.

  • Related clinical experience in a physician office or healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct nutrition assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Provide evidence-based nutrition counseling and education.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, care coordinators, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Assist with bariatric program coordination, other specialty referrals, hospital in-patient planning, educational group classes, and quality initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
  • Facilitate open, honest, and effective communication between patients and care teams.
  • Support program policies, procedures, and continuous improvement efforts.
