Requirements

Master's Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
Current Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
Current Idaho licensure through the Idaho State Board of Medicine.
Current BLS certification.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Ability to adapt to change and learn new processes.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and make sound decisions under pressure.
Professional, compassionate, and patient-centered approach.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Related clinical experience in a physician office or healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

Conduct nutrition assessments and develop individualized care plans.
Provide evidence-based nutrition counseling and education.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, care coordinators, and interdisciplinary teams.
Assist with bariatric program coordination, other specialty referrals, hospital in-patient planning, educational group classes, and quality initiatives.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
Facilitate open, honest, and effective communication between patients and care teams.
Support program policies, procedures, and continuous improvement efforts.
