About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Fulltime Registered Dietitian 2 for Paul's Run Retirement Community, located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This candidate will provide clinical care to residents in long-term care and short term rehab units. For this position, some exposure in a Senior Living facility is preferred, as well as strong clinical skills. We are also looking for an organized RD with excellent communication skills to work closely with members of the interdisciplinary team. Requirements

Registered Dietitian credentials and state licensure in Pennsylvania
strong verbal and written communication skills
strong leadership skills
the ability to work well with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff
excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working with seniors to make every day a better day for our residents
Minimum Education Requirement: Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
2 years work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + registered dietitian

Nice To Haves

some exposure in a Senior Living facility is preferred

Responsibilities

meet DOH/state/federal and company standards
be an active member of the interdisciplinary care conferences
represent the Food & Nutrition Department as a liaison with the medical and nursing staff
