Our Franklin County CarePlex in Louisburg offers a unique opportunity to practice in a close-knit, community-focused environment while remaining within commuting distance of Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill. Advance Community Health is seeking a part-time full-time Registered Dental Hygienist to join our newly expanded dental practice in Louisburg, NC. This role focuses on preventive, patient-centered dental care in a supportive clinical environment where providers can prioritize quality over volume. Our hygienists play a critical role in improving oral health outcomes through education, early intervention, and compassionate care.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
  • Active North Carolina Dental Hygiene License
  • Current BLS/CPR certification

Responsibilities

  • Provide dental prophylaxis and preventive care services
  • Perform oral cancer screenings and expose and evaluate radiographs
  • Apply fluoride varnish and dental sealants
  • Deliver individualized and group oral health education
  • Accurately document all patient care in the electronic health record (EHR)
  • Maintain sterilization and infection control standards in compliance with regulations
  • Collaborate with dental providers to support comprehensive patient care
  • Participate in community outreach and dental education initiatives
  • Support dental program development in collaboration with leadership
  • Perform other duties as assigned or become necessary by supervisor.
