Requirements

Current and valid state license as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
CPR certification (Basic Life Support)
Proficient in performing dental cleanings, scaling, root planing, and other preventive procedures
Ability to take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
Knowledge of infection control, sterilization procedures, and OSHA/HIPAA compliance
Ability to apply fluoride treatments, dental sealants, and other preventive measures
Excellent patient care and communication skills
Ability to educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment plans
Strong teamwork and collaboration with dentists, assistants, and office staff
Familiarity with dental charting and documentation
Ability to schedule patients and manage time efficiently
Comfort with using dental technology and equipment
