About The Position

Whole Health Dentistry is seeking a part-time Dental Hygienist to join their team. This practice takes a functional approach to dental care, focusing on addressing the root causes of health issues rather than just symptoms. The role involves helping patients improve their oral and overall health by addressing problems such as chronic bad breath, migraines, and periodontal disease, utilizing advanced testing and holistic strategies. The hygienist will work in a progressive, patient-centered practice that integrates functional medicine with dentistry and be part of a supportive team that values education and mentorship.

Requirements

  • Valid AZ Hygiene license
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • 1+ years of hands-on Hygienist experience (highly preferred, but recent graduates encouraged to apply)
  • Experience with periodontal therapy, oral cancer screenings, digital radiographs, and patient education
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Compassionate, patient-first approach
  • Experience using dental practice management software (Curve Hero preferred, but not required)
  • Interest in biological/holistic dentistry and whole-body wellness
  • Willingness to learn advanced protocols including ozone therapy, laser dentistry, salivary diagnostics, and preventive wellness care
  • Team-oriented, dependable, detail-oriented
  • Commitment to providing exceptional patient experiences
  • Commitment to continuing education and professional growth

  • Coronal Polishing certification

Responsibilities
