About The Position
CHOICE Healthcare Services is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to support pediatric dental care. The organization provides dental services to children, infants, adolescents, and young patients with special needs, using current techniques and technology in caring, supportive environments. In this role, you will work with pediatric dentists, orthodontists, and anesthesiologists and help provide high-quality care to children and their families. The position pays $25.00 to $29.00 per hour, plus a bonus system for sealants. Requirements
- Certification from a dental college, or at least 3 months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- California Registered Dental Assistant License.
- X-ray Certification.
- Coronal Polish Certification.
- Current BLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual in Spanish.
- Sealant Certification.
Responsibilities
- Assist the doctor during procedures.
- Operate X-ray equipment and take X-rays.
- Perform teeth prophylaxis.
- Instruct patients on oral hygiene.
- Chart and treatment-plan with the doctor.
- Sterilize instruments.
- Set up and prepare rooms for hygiene and treatment.
- Take IOs.
- Apply sealants, if applicable.
