About The Position

Norwood Dental Centre, with over 30 years of service, is a modern dental practice offering a full range of services including Invisalign, Botox, and laser dentistry. We utilize the latest technology such as Digital Panoramic X-Rays and the iTero Scanner. Our commitment to innovation, continuous learning, and patient satisfaction is reflected in our 4.9-star Google rating. We offer a consistent work schedule of Monday to Thursday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, and Fridays from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM, with no evenings or weekends required. We are looking for a Registered Dental Assistant to join our team and contribute to providing exceptional care.

Requirements

Registered and/or Certified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association is required
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

Nice To Haves

Previous dental assisting experience is preferred

Responsibilities

Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment
Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow
Take dental X-rays and digital images as required
Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards
Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks
Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care
Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines
Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour
