Registered Dental Assistant
About The Position
Henderson Smiles is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to help provide patient care and support dental procedures. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday. The RDA welcomes and prepares patients for exams, takes digital X-rays, assists dentists during treatment, maintains a sterile and organized environment, educates patients about treatment options and aftercare, performs teeth polishing and sealant placement, and helps manage appointments and patient care. The role also emphasizes maintaining sterilization standards and creating a welcoming atmosphere for patients. Requirements
- Valid Texas-issued Registered Dental Assistant License.
- Proficiency in digital X-rays and charting.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and detail-oriented.
Nice To Haves
- Sealant Placement certification; training is available for the right candidate.
- Nitrous Monitoring certification; training is available for the right candidate.
- Coronal Polishing certification; training is available for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and prepare patients for dental exams, helping them feel at ease.
