About The Position

Battlefords Dental Centre has been serving the community for over 22 years, providing a wide range of dental services. As a Registered Dental Assistant, you will be an integral part of our experienced team, contributing to the delivery of quality dental care. You will work alongside dentists and hygienists, ensuring a clean and safe environment, assisting with treatments, and maintaining patient comfort. This role involves taking X-rays, performing sterilization, updating patient charts, and educating patients on oral hygiene. You will also support administrative tasks and collaborate with the team to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care. Requirements

Registered and/or Certified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association is required
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

Nice To Haves

Previous dental assisting experience is preferred

Responsibilities

Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment
Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow
Take dental X-rays and digital images as required
Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards
Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks
Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care
Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines
Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour
