Registered Clinical Nurse Program Coordinator - Nursing Administration
About The Position
This role is for a Registered Clinical Nurse Program Coordinator within Nursing Administration at Atrium Health Stanly. The position is full-time, working Monday-Friday, normal business hours, with potential for some off-shift and/or weekend requirements based on facility needs. The coordinator will strategize, plan, coordinate, and oversee program/initiative operations for a specified service line, serving as a resource for nursing leadership and the multidisciplinary team. This involves synthesizing current literature and research to develop quality, cost-effective programs, coordinating clinical care for continuity, and collaborating with teams to develop and evaluate education and nursing competencies. The role also involves acting as an expert resource and consultant for policies, procedures, and standards of care.
Requirements
- MSN, MHA, or Master's degree in the job-related field of work required; graduate from an accredited School of Nursing required.
- Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state in which one works.
- BLS for Healthcare Provider from AHA required.
- 2 years nursing experience required.
- Must speak and understand English fluently.
- Must have an intact sense of sight, hearing, smells, and finger dexterity.
- Critical thinking and ability to concentrate.
- Must be able to be mobile with the entire healthcare system and other facilities.
- Must be able to respond quickly to changes in patients and/or program conditions.
Nice To Haves
- Certification in specialty preferred.
- 5 years experience preferred.
- Project management experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Strategizes, plans, coordinates and oversees program/initiative operations for a specified service line, acting as a resource for nursing leadership and the multidisciplinary team.
- Synthesizes and analyzes current literature, research data, and practice standards to develop quality, cost effective programs/initiatives.
- Coordinates the clinical care of patients with the multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
- Collaborates with nursing leadership, direct care nurses, and members of the multidisciplinary team to assess, develop, implement, and evaluate appropriate education and nursing competencies for the service line.
- Acts as an expert resource and consultant to the healthcare team in the development of policies, procedures and standards of care.
