About The Position
PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Shreveport is seeking a Registered Clinical Dietitian for PRN (Variable Coverage Hours | Mon-Fri) positions. This role involves planning regular and modified diets for patients of all ages as prescribed by Medical Staff. Responsibilities include routinely visiting patients, counseling them on nutritional needs, participating in hospital, patient, and community education programs, and assisting with the department's Quality Assessment & Quality Improvement plan.
Requirements
- Registered with Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- Licensed by the State in which the facility resides to practice Dietetics.
- 3 years' experience in a clinical setting preferred.
Nice To Haves
- Rehabilitation experiences a plus.
Responsibilities
- Planning regular and modified diets for all ages of patients as prescribed by Medical Staff.
- Routinely visiting patients.
- Counseling patients with nutritional needs.
- Participating in hospital, patient, and community education and outpatient programs.
- Assisting with the maintenance of the department's Quality Assessment & Quality Improvement plan.
