About The Position
PAM Health is seeking a Registered Clinical Dietitian for a PRN position at their San Antonio LTACH facility. This role involves planning and modifying diets for patients of all ages as prescribed by medical staff, including routine patient visits and counseling on nutritional needs. The dietitian will also participate in hospital, patient, and community education, as well as outpatient programs. Additionally, the position assists with the maintenance of the department's Quality Assessment & Quality Improvement plan. Requirements
- Registered with Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- Licensed by the State in which the facility resides to practice Dietetics.
Nice To Haves
- 3 years' experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Rehabilitation experiences a plus.
Responsibilities
- Planning regular and modified diets for all ages of patients as prescribed by Medical Staff.
- Routinely visiting patients and counseling patients with nutritional needs.
- Participating in hospital, patient, and community education and outpatient programs.
- Assisting with the maintenance of the department's Quality Assessment & Quality Improvement plan.
