Registered Cardiac Sonographer III
About The Position
The Registered Cardiac Sonographer III operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound examinations and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. The role provides patient services using ultrasound equipment and requires knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology. The sonographer provides care to patients across all age groups, including neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations, and communicates effectively with staff and radiologists. The position is based at Piedmont Fayette Hospital in Fayetteville, Georgia. A sign-on bonus is available.
Requirements
- Graduate of an AMA-approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.
- Two years of related experience as a hospital inpatient or outpatient/ambulatory cardiac sonographer.
- Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Hold either ARDCS Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer registration in at least two specialties or RCS Registered Cardiac Sonographer registration in at least two specialties.
