About The Position
Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. Provides patient services using ultrasound equipment and demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology. Provides patient care to neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients, and communicates effectively with staff and radiologists. The position is at Piedmont Fayette Hospital in Fayetteville, Georgia.
Requirements
- Graduate of an AMA-approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.
- Two years of related experience as a hospital inpatient or outpatient/ambulatory cardiac sonographer.
- BCLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- ARDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) registered in at least two specialties, or RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) registered in at least two specialties.
