About The Position

Our clients are looking for RBA (Ont.) services in Hamilton & surrounding areas, to implement behaviour plans and programming based on ABA principles and following OAP guidelines. We are looking for RBAs with interests and experience in various populations, writing Behaviour Support Plans and Safety Plans, working with high-risk interfering behaviours, conducting functional analyses, and a working knowledge of the Ontario Autism Program.

Requirements

Registration as a Registered Behaviour Analyst ONT. with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
A clear Criminal Record & Vulnerable Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
Proof of Professional Liability Insurance, or willingness to obtain
Valid CPR/First Aid Standard Level C certification
Valid Drivers License and access to a reliable vehicle with a willingness to travel within the community and to clients homes
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work both independently and as a part of a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities

Implement behaviour plans and programming based on ABA principles and following OAP guidelines.
Write Behaviour Support Plans and Safety Plans.
Work with high-risk interfering behaviours.
Conduct functional analyses.
Provide clinical supervision and training to behaviour therapists.
Travel within the community to client homes to conduct assessments, observations, and therapy, as needed.
Manage all aspects of a caseload, including scheduling, billing, and managing budgets.
Provide mentorship and training to behaviour therapists and caregivers on program implementation.
