About The Position

TERI is seeking part-time Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide individualized ABA services in home and community-based settings while also supporting coverage opportunities within our school-based (NPA) programs throughout North County San Diego. This flexible opportunity allows you to work with individuals across different ages and support needs, from early childhood through young adulthood. Depending on your availability and current program needs, assignments may include home-based ABA, community-based services, school coverage, or a combination of settings.

Requirements

Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required.
Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and ability to travel to client and program locations throughout North County San Diego.
Strong communication, organization, reliability, and ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with families and interdisciplinary teams.

Nice To Haves

Experience providing ABA or behavioral support in home, school, clinic, or community-based settings preferred.
Experience supporting children, adolescents, or young adults with autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities, or moderate to intensive behavioral support needs preferred.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Behavior Analysis, Child Development, Human Services, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide direct 1:1 ABA and behavioral support to clients in home, community, and school-based settings under the direction and supervision of a BCBA.
Implement individualized behavior intervention and skill acquisition programs focused on communication, social development, adaptive living skills, independence, and other individualized goals.
Collect, record, and maintain accurate behavioral and skill acquisition data to monitor client progress and treatment effectiveness.
Support individuals with varying behavioral needs, including clients who may require mild, moderate, or more intensive behavioral intervention and support.
Collaborate with BCBAs, families, school personnel, and other members of the clinical team to promote consistent implementation of individualized treatment plans.
Maintain flexibility to travel throughout North County San Diego and support different clients, locations, and service settings based on availability and program needs.
Participate in ongoing supervision, training, clinical documentation, and professional development while maintaining TERI and BACB professional and ethical standards.
