At Ability Matters, we provide person-centered behavioral services for individuals with autism and developmental disabilities. We are not a home health agency or clinic. We help individuals develop meaningful skills through real-life experiences and community inclusion. This is a hands-on role where you'll see the impact of your work every day.

Requirements

Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
Bachelor's degree preferred, high school diploma or GED minimum
Strong communication, problem solving, and adaptability skills
Valid Ohio driver's license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

Implement Behavior Plans: Provide direct ABA services by implementing individualized behavior intervention and skill acquisition programs under the supervision of a BCBA.
Teach Functional Skills: Support communication, social development, emotional regulation, independence, and daily living skills.
Use Positive Behavior Support: Apply evidence-based behavioral strategies that promote dignity, independence, and meaningful progress.
Collect Data & Monitor Progress: Track behavioral and skill development data to support individualized treatment and service planning.
Support Community Inclusion: Provide services in homes, schools, day programs, and throughout the community, helping individuals participate in meaningful activities and build independence beyond traditional therapy settings.
Collaborate with Teams & Families: Work closely with BCBAs, supervisors, families, and other professionals to ensure consistent implementation of treatment goals and individualized supports.
