About The Position

LLA Therapy is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our school-based services team in Northeast Ohio. With over 30 years of experience, LLA Therapy is dedicated to helping children shine their brightest. Requirements

  • Hold and maintain current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician, issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
  • Must have at least one (1) year of experience as an RBT.
  • Must be proficient in English; reading, comprehending and understanding the English language.
  • Valid Driver’s license.
  • FBI and BCI background check (can be completed upon hire)
  • Professional Liability Insurance, recommended by governing body.
  • Positive and goal oriented, willing to accept the challenge of new assignments and be able to work well with others.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with emphasis on teamwork, customer service, and safe working practices.
  • Must be able to handle stressful situations.
  • Compatible with company culture and core values.

Responsibilities

  • Follow behavior intervention plan and reinforcement schedule as prescribed by the BCBA or BCaBA in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, and as may be directed by the administrator.
  • Teach communication, social, self-help and play skills through ABA principles.
  • Document the progress and effects of prescribed treatment with clients.
  • Develop individualized materials as directed by the BCBA and/or BCaBA.
  • Collaborate with family, BCBA, and/or BCaBA, and school personnel.
  • Participate in school meetings as necessary.
  • Maintain effective communications with all internal and external stakeholders including clients, families, co-workers and leadership.
  • Maintain positive and productive relationships with clients, families and colleagues.
  • Complete training as prescribed by the BCBA or BCaBA staff.
  • Support and ensure a safe and positive environment for clients and colleagues.
