About The Position
Behavioral Health Works is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work one-on-one with children with autism, helping them build communication, social, and everyday life skills through ABA therapy. This is a part-time opportunity with flexible afternoon/evening hours, offering meaningful, hands-on work with children who need support. The role emphasizes making a real impact and building a career in a growing field.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Available weekday afternoons or evenings (3 to 8pm, minimum 3 days/week)
- Reliable car, valid license, and insurance
- Comfortable with tech, you'll use your phone/tablet for data collection
Nice To Haves
- Experience or a passion for caregiving, education, or working with kids with special needs
- Experience or interest in paraprofessional work, caregiving, coaching, tutoring, special education, social work, mental health advocacy, youth programs, foster care, childcare, camp counseling, or any related field
- Studying psychology, education, social work, human development, or something similar
Responsibilities
- Working directly with kids using play-based ABA therapy
- Teaching communication, social, and self-help skills
- Tracking progress and collecting session data on your phone or tablet
- Partnering with families and a clinical team
