About The Position

ABA Solutions is seeking Behavior Technicians or Registered Behavior Technicians to provide ABA therapy to families in Fanwood, Scotch Plains, New Jersey, and surrounding towns. The agency is owned and operated by BCBAs and provides evidence-based interventions, trauma-informed practices, and personalized treatment plans. Services take place in homes, schools, communities, and daycare settings. The role offers a flexible schedule, with approximately 10–15 hours per week described in the opportunity and an ideal target of 10–20 hours per week. Candidates must be able to commit at least 8 hours per week and have some availability after 3 p.m.; a mix of daytime and after-school availability is preferred.

BTs/RBTs pursuing BCBA certification can receive free supervision and varied experience as a Student Analyst, including opportunities to consult in home, school, and community settings. The organization describes itself as a small, collaborative team that aims to support staff and create schedules suited to their needs. All positions require screening through the Clearinghouse.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience working with individuals with Autism.
• Willingness to obtain Registered Behavior Technician certification within 6 months of hire if not already certified.
• Ability to commit at least 8 hours per week.
• Some availability after 3 p.m.
• Pass the required Clearinghouse screening.

• Some ABA experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct one-on-one ABA therapy with clients in homes, communities, and daycare settings.
• Implement individualized treatment plans to address behavior and teach skill acquisition.
• Collect data on client progress and behavior.
