AAPSA has immediate openings for part-time Registered Behavior Technicians in our Applied Behavior Analysis program. Supervision and on-site training are provided. This role involves working directly with a child on the Autism spectrum in a school setting to encourage and support independence in communication, social skills, and daily living by implementing treatment plans developed by Board Certified Behavioral Analysts. Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an intensive behavioral therapy and a science-based approach designed to change the lives of individuals on the spectrum. This is a part-time position with hours based on a typical school day. It is a great learning opportunity for individuals interested in careers in education, psychology, human services, occupational therapy, physical therapy, nursing, and speech/language therapy. Previous candidates have benefited from the experience and the letter of recommendation that can be provided for application into undergraduate and graduate school programs.
