About The Position

Centria is seeking enthusiastic individuals to work one-on-one with children with autism as Registered Behavior Technicians. The role involves implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills, and reducing interfering behaviors. Comprehensive training is provided, and previous experience is not required. The work can be physically active, and children may be unpredictable or confrontational. The stated pay range is $19–$24.

Requirements

• Be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Be patient and compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Be able to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and a tuberculosis test if one has not been completed in the last year.
• Be able to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Be able to move through positions and activities such as sitting, squatting, and bending.
• Be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
