Registered Behavior Technician RBT
About The Position
Butterfly Effects is seeking passionate Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) to teach young children affected by autism. This is a permanent part-time opportunity (10-20 hours on average) with the potential to make a full-time impact on a child's life. Our home-based treatment model involves working directly with the child and family in their natural environment, such as their home, to teach essential skills like communication, sharing, playing, and waiting. RBTs at Butterfly Effects make sessions fun by using play-based activities and receive comprehensive training to ensure confidence in instructing children affected by autism.
Requirements
- Minimum High School diploma.
- Active RBT Certification.
- A love and passion for working with children.
- Valid driver's license & personal vehicle.
- Auto Insurance with your name listed as an insured driver.
- Web-enabled device (laptop or tablet).
- Minimum 3 weekdays with consistent availability for at least 6 months.
- Positive attitude and strong people skills to work with children and families.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in the ABA Field.
- Education and training support for career growth.
- Opportunity to grow towards gaining Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with guidance and financial assistance.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with children affected by autism in their natural environment (most often their home).
- Teach children essential skills such as communication, sharing, playing, and waiting.
- Make home-session fun by teaching through play-based activities.
- Partner with families to deliver ABA treatment.
