About The Position

Seeking RBT's to work in schools within in Elkton, MD for '26-'27 School Year. Being an RBT at Devereux has its advantages! We offer: Competitive pay starting at $24 - $27.36 per hour (based on education and related experience) 10-Month, School Day Schedule: Mon - Friday: 8:15a - 3:45p Comprehensive health benefits, effective 30 days after hire Tuition and student loan assistance through our ASCEND Program Mission-driven work that makes a real difference A supportive, collaborative team environment with opportunities for professional growth In this role, you will: Implement BCBA-designed behavior intervention plans with fidelity in elementary school settings Provide direct support using prompting, reinforcement, skill-building, and behavior reduction strategies Collect and track session data, maintaining accurate documentation and reporting progress to the BCBA Follow safety and crisis protocols to ensure a secure learning environment Collaborate with school staff and maintain professional communication with teams and families Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and adherence to ethical and program standards About DESS: Devereux Educational Strategies and Solutions (DESS) provides support to schools around early learning, academic interventions, safety practices and the assessment and treatment of students with complex behaviors, cognitive challenges and communication needs. We use evidence-based practices with an emphasis on assisting school systems with special education populations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Must hold current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Prior experience working with children or adolescents in educational, clinical, or community settings preferred.
  • Experience supporting individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is strongly preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Implement BCBA-designed behavior intervention plans with fidelity in elementary school settings
