About The Position

The Place for Children with Autism is seeking dedicated individuals to join their team as Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs). This role offers comprehensive paid training and support to help you earn your RBT certification, with the goal of preparing you for the certification exam within approximately 35 days. The company has a track record of supporting RBTs in their career advancement, with many progressing to become Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Requirements

• Passion for working with children and families
• Dependable and reliable team players who show up ready to make a difference every day
• Open-minded individuals willing to learn and grow through constructive feedback
• A commitment to safety and a willingness to complete a background check
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to lift 30 pounds, bend, and squat for up to an hour a day
• Travel to other centers to provide therapy services
• Ability to move quickly and follow children throughout the center, sometimes at a rapid pace

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience with children (not required but a bonus!)
• A desire to grow within the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)

Responsibilities

• Work directly with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to help them achieve their developmental goals
• Implement therapy programs designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
• Support clients and their families with compassion and dedication
• Engage in fun, rewarding activities while promoting skill-building and growth
