About The Position

At ABC Pathways, Registered Behavior Technicians help provide high-quality, evidence-based, family-centered therapy and support to children and families affected by autism and other behavior disorders, using applied behavior analysis (ABA). Technicians typically begin with a part-time caseload of about 20 hours per week, depending on location, with potential to grow to full-time (40 hours weekly) as opportunities arise. The role requires a high level of commitment to training, clients, and the organization’s standards of excellence. The listed schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Strong communication and people skills.
• Highly dependable and organized.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with children, such as in childcare, education, or similar fields.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans created by a BCBA.
• Collect and record data on client behavior during therapy sessions.
• Monitor and document progress toward treatment goals.
• Reinforce positive behaviors.
• Communicate effectively with clients, parents, caregivers, and the BCBA.
• Maintain client confidentiality and follow ethical guidelines.
