About The Position

Caravel is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work 1:1 with children ages 18 months to 6 years who have a diagnosis of autism, in a center-based environment. The role involves delivering Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), guided by individualized treatment plans. Responsibilities include building skills through play and connection, tracking progress and documenting sessions using ABA technology, creating a safe and positive environment, and preparing for the RBT certification exam within the first 45 days. Requirements

  • Full-time availability Monday–Friday, between 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Must be 18 or older with a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Reliability — showing up for scheduled hours and staying on top of administrative tasks
  • Resilience and compassion, especially on the tough days
  • Interest in psychology, education, healthcare, or human services
  • Ability to obtain RBT certification within 45 days of employment
  • Physical readiness for the role: pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 35 pounds; sitting on the floor, stooping, standing, walking, and moving quickly alongside kids when needed
