About The Position

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - Calhoun, Georgia. FernWild ABA, a Finni Health company, is seeking a full-time or part-time Registered Behavior Technician to serve families across Northwest Georgia. The role involves working in family homes, addressing real-life situations such as kitchens, living rooms, bedtime routines, and morning transitions. FernWild is a practice that prioritizes careful observation, clear notes, and steady follow-through over high caseload numbers. The work is described as quieter than it appears from the outside.

Requirements

• Current RBT Certification (required)
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality practices (required)
• All candidates must pass a background check. Employment offers are contingent upon successful screening results to ensure the safety of the children and families we serve.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working with children or individuals with special needs (preferred)
• Experience with data collection and familiarity with ABA terminology (preferred)
• Experience with behavior management strategies and applied behavior analysis techniques (preferred)
• A background in special education, psychology, or a related field (beneficial)

Responsibilities

• Keep organized notes and meet documentation deadlines without prompting
• Speak clearly with parents about what is working and what is not
• Accept supervision and feedback as part of the craft rather than a formality
• Understand that a child's environment shapes outcomes as much as any plan on paper
• Can sit with slow progress without reaching for dramatic intervention
