About The Position
Easterseals West Kentucky, Inc. is searching for a full-time Registered Behavior Technical (RBT). The RBT will be responsible for providing individualized services to children with autism in a clinic-based setting. The RBT provides direct one-on-one behavioral interventions to teach communication, social and daily living skills and reduce problematic behaviors under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to multi-task and manage a variety of projects and goals
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Must be a citizen of the United States and possess a valid driver’s license
- Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience preferred, but not required
- Training provided through Easterseals for RBT credential
Responsibilities
- Provide direct client care in one-on-one and group settings
- Following the behavior reduction and behavior skill acquisition protocols
- Collecting and recording data based on client behavior
- Communicating with clients, parents and caregivers regarding client progress
- Assisting behavior analysts and assistant behavior analysts with behavior reduction and skills acquisition
- Assisting behavior analysts and assistant behavior analysts in the preparation of client materials
- Accurate and timely submission of clinical notes that meet payor requirements
