Afternoon Hours - Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
About The Position
Above and Beyond Therapy is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide direct care to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The role provides one-to-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy in home and school environments, implementing individualized treatment plans written by a supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Requirements
- Experience working with children and/or adolescents with autism spectrum disorder.
- Effective verbal and written communication in English.
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, and families.
- Valid state identification card.
- Reliable transportation; must have a vehicle and a valid driver's license to commute between locations.
- Pass a criminal background check.
- RBT certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct one-to-one ABA therapy in home or school environments.
- Implement individualized treatment plans and programs as written by the supervising BCBA.
- Collect data and submit session notes.
- Collaborate with peers and supervisors.
- Participate regularly in staff meetings and trainings.
- Travel between locations promptly for appointments.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
