About The Position

As an early childhood Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at Ascend Behavior Partners, you will embody our values in every interaction with clients, families, and colleagues. Ascend Behavior Partners provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in a play-based natural environment to children up to age seven diagnosed with autism. Our mission is to partner with families to build a strong foundation for their children using ABA Therapy. This role requires empathy, a playful spirit, a desire for professional development, and the ability to think quickly on your feet. We are looking for individuals who are big-hearted, strongly committed, and believe in building a solid foundation of early intervention.

Requirements

  • A passion for positively impacting the lives of children with autism and their families.
  • Enthusiasm and high-energy levels.
  • Experience with children in a professional setting, supporting them with communication and behavioral needs.
  • Familiarity with autism and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
  • Reliable and consistent with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to travel to various clients’ homes up to 40 miles from your home location, reliably Monday through Friday.
  • RBT certification number on the BACB website if Registered or eager to sit for the exam within the first 90 days of employment.
  • CPR certification.
  • Able to pass a background check, reference check and qualified to work in the US.
  • Meet physical requirements of this position which include but are not limited to lifting at least 50 pounds, floor play, running, finger dexterity, climbing, and standing for long periods.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience as a Registered Behavior Technician, ABA Therapist, or providing ABA Therapy is preferred.
  • Fluent in verbal and written Spanish and English is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in a play-based natural environment to children with an autism diagnosis up to age seven.
  • Partner with families to build a strong foundation for their children.
  • Support clients with communication and behavioral needs.
  • Travel to various clients’ homes up to 40 miles from your home location, reliably Monday through Friday.
  • Engage clients and support their learning in a playful environment.
  • Manage a healthy work-life balance by planning ahead for time off and communicating consistently with the team.
  • Meet physical requirements of the position including lifting at least 50 pounds, floor play, running, finger dexterity, climbing, and standing for long periods.
