Registered Behavior Technician RBT
About The Position
Butterfly Effects is seeking passionate Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) to teach young children affected by autism. This is a permanent part-time opportunity (10-20 hours on average) with the potential to make a full-time impact on a child's life. Our home-based treatment model involves working directly with the child and family in their natural environment to teach essential skills such as communication, sharing, playing, and waiting. RBTs at Butterfly Effects make sessions fun by using play-based activities and receive comprehensive training to ensure confidence in instructing children affected by autism.
Requirements
- Active RBT Certification
- Minimum High School diploma
- A love and passion for working with children
- Valid driver's license & personal vehicle
- Auto Insurance - Your name listed as an insured driver
- Web Enabled Device (laptop or tablet)
- Minimum 3 weekdays with consistent availability for at least 6 months
- Positive attitude and strong people skills to work with children and families
Nice To Haves
- Experience in the ABA Field
Responsibilities
- Work directly with children affected by autism in their natural environment (home-based).
- Teach essential skills such as communication, sharing, playing, and waiting.
- Utilize play-based activities to make sessions fun and engaging.
- Partner with families to implement ABA treatment.
- Maintain consistent availability for a minimum of 3 weekdays for at least 6 months.
